Customer Guidance

As we adapt our operations to control the spread of COVID-19 we would like to make all of our customers aware of the below guidance

Bar & Restaurant Reopening Guidelines
(Includes our outside seating area)

Below we have set out our guidelines of how we will keep our customers and staff safe during your time with us.

We ask that you take a few moments to familiarise yourself with these guidelines before arriving at the premises.

  • Do not attend the premises if you or anyone in your immediate household is or has displayed COVID-19 symptoms in the past seven days.
  • Please think very carefully about visiting the premises if you are in the vulnerable category that the government has set out
  • A maximum of 73 customers will be allowed inside the premises at any one time
  • Customers MUST wear a face covering upon entering the premises. Face coverings are to be worn until seated at your designated table, once sat face covering can be removed. Face coverings MUST be worn when moving away from our table to visit the toilet, smoke outside or to exit the building
  • We advise pre-booking in advance, maximum table reservations of six people are permitted from any number of households
  • Government track & trace information forms are to be completed upon arrival. The information held on these forms will be retained securely for 21 days post arrival, before being destroyed and shall ONLY be used should a localised outbreak occur. The NHS Test & Trace QR Code is also provided upon entry and at each table for your use
  • A one-way system will be in operation wherever feasibly possible. There will be clear signage and floor markings to help you find your way in and out safely
  • Entrance will be via our rear door, accessed through our carpark. There will be a member of staff located at the entrance to welcome you on arrival and two metre floor markings will be in place should we encounter a queue to enter
  • Exit will be via the front door if customers are seated inside and via a clearly marked exit to the right of our new outside eating area if customers are sat outside.
  • Upon arrival, we will request that you sanitise your hands and take a few moments to look at our COVID-19 posters and guidance which will be visible throughout the premises
  • Once seated customers will be assigned a designated server for the duration of their visit
  • There will be NO BAR SERVICE. All drinks will be ordered at the table with a designated server. Please do not return your empty glasses to the bar. Glasses will be cleared from your table by your designated server
  • Sitting at the bar will not be permitted and there will be no standing drinkers
  • The 1m+ rule outside and 2m rule inside will be strictly adhered too. Anyone found to be in breach of these COVID-19 guidelines will be removed from the premises
  • We encourage contactless payments, with table payments made where possible. However, cash will be accepted
  • Toilets will be sanitised on the hour every hour. Please use hand sanitiser before entering. Each toilet has been fitted with a new lock on the reverse of the main door so that a one-in-one-out operation can be adhered to. Please wash your hands thoroughly before exiting
  • A copy of our COVID-19 risk assessment will be made available upon request

Accommodation Reopening Guidelines

Below we have set out our guidelines of how we will keep our customers and staff safe during your time with us.

We ask that you take a few moments to familiarise yourself with these guidelines before arriving at the premises.

  • Do not attend the premises if you or anyone in your immediate household is or has displayed COVID-19 symptoms in the past seven days
  • Please think very carefully about visiting the premises if you are in the vulnerable category that the government has set out
  • Government track & trace information is to be provided upon booking. The information held on these forms will beĀ retained securely for 21 days post arrival, before being destroyed and shall ONLY be used should a localised outbreak occur
  • Contactless check-in and check-out will be in operation, with your room key placed in your room before your arrival
  • Upon arrival we will request that you sanitise your hands and settle the balance of your booking before directing you to your room
  • Face masks must be worn if accessing any of the rooms located at the top of a shared staircase, unless the occupant of the other room is part of your booking
  • For reservations of multiple nights, housekeeping of your room will not be offered during the duration of your stay (upĀ to 4 nights). This is to reduce the risk of any contamination to you the customer and Corners Inn staff. Extra towels, toiletries and tea/ coffee facilities are provided in these circumstances
  • Our breakfast restaurant is currently unavailable. If your reservation is for bed & breakfast then a breakfast tray/bagĀ will be delivered to your room each evening (please ensure that you advise us of any food allergies, intolerances orĀ dietary requirements)
  • On the morning of your departure, please leave the key to the room in the back of the door. Check out is no later thanĀ 11am
  • Departed rooms will be left to rest for 24 hours before being cleaned ready for the next check in at 2pm on the following day
  • All towels and linens are washed on a medical 75 degree cycle
  • Rooms are deep cleaned using antiviral disinfectant cleaners, with all contact touch points being paid particularĀ attention to
  • All cups and glasses are removed between guests and washed through the glass washer on a hot temperature
  • Any unused tea/ coffee, sugars, milk, bottled water and toiletries are removed on departure and placed into a 72 hourĀ quarantine
  • Should you develop COVID-19 symptoms during your stay, please advise us immediately, stay in your room and callĀ 01568 708385, asking for Emma or Terence. DO NOT enter the main building. Medical assistance will be provided ifĀ required and as soon as is reasonably possible you will be required to check out. Your room will then be placed intoĀ quarantine for 72 hours before being deep cleaned
  • A copy of our COVID-19 risk assessment will be made available upon request
